Katsina Banditry: Bala Wuta., infamous bandit, others dislodged by joint security operations

Based on credible intelligence, a combine teams of Nigerian
Police Force, Nigerian Army and vigilante group carried out sting operations in Kadoji village, Jibia, campsite of an infamous bandit, named Bala Wuta.

After a fierce gun duel, the bandit and the gallant security forces dislodged his cohorts.

The team destroyed his encampment and reclaimed fifteen (15) cows, twenty-eight (28) goats, and twelve (12) sheep believed to be rustled.

Similarly, Area Commander, Dutsinma, led a combine team of police officers to Megezoji bandits’ encampment at Yantumaki forest, dislodged the bandits, destroyed their encampment and recovered twenty-eight (28) cows and nineteen (19) goats, believed to be rustled.

A statement by the Police Public Relations Officer, Katsina State command, SP Gambo Isah said the Command urges members of the public to cooperate with security agencies by giving them credible information on marauders and their collaborators, especially those supplying them with arms and ammunition, informants and other essential commodities.

According to SP Gambo Isah “The Command assures members of the public that it remains resolute and committed in the ongoing fight against recalcitrant bandits until they are arrested and dealt with in accordance with the extant laws of the land.”
