The organized Labour in Nasarawa state has declared indefinite integral strike, starting from Tomorrow to press home their demand.

State chairmen of Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC, comrade Yusuf Iya and that of Trade Union Congress, comrade Muhammad Umar Doma made this known while addressing journalists shortly after State Executive Council meeting at Abdullahi Adamu labour House in lafia.

According to the Union leaders, the decision has become necessary following the inability of the state government to meet up their demands which include implementation of promotion, annual increment of Civil Servants, payment of last tranche of twenty- sixteen, August arrears, among others.

They noted that until their demands are addressed by the state government, workers will not suspend the industrial action.
